Fall is Here

Fall is here!! YAY!! Fall is my favorite season. All the beautiful leaves, football, and perfect weather. To me, I enjoy going outside and not sweating to death or freeze your buns off. The sun is shining. but a cool breaze blows by. I look around and think how ca people question if there is a God. All the beautiful and colorful surrondings werent just created by this big bang or something. I just wanted to say look around and thank God for what you see.

15 Years!!!

Monday I turned 15!!! I was so excited because the big "15" gift(that is if you pass)!! Of course, I got my permit..it definantly wasnt easy, and you don't want me to go through the whole lllooonnnggg story about getting. Well, also for my birthday, I got the iTouch, which I think is totally awesome. It is basically like the iPhone, without the calling part. Abs gave me a new necklace, and Grandma gave me a new Vera Bradley purse.

It's very hard to imagine than I am 15. It seems that just yesterday, I was in beauty padgent(yuck!!), learning to ride a dirtbike(two older brother's idea), going to check on the cows with Papa John, and of course, begging Nana to go swimming with me down in the swimming area(lake). I have had alot of memories and I wouldn't trade anything. Everyday, I thank God, that I have been able to expiernce the great things God's given me and everyone who he has placed in my life.

What A Day!!!

Today was AWESOME!!! I went to the Clemson vs. NC State game, and I had a blast!!! It's the weekend before my birthday and me and one of my friends always have this tradition that we go the weekend before our birthday!! Well, we had a bunch of fun!! Then when we got home, we went to ride the golf cart!! For yall who do not know, I live on a caddle farm. Well, cows are very curious(you will find out why im giving you this information in a minute). So we were riding in the patures, running over ant hills and "jumping" ditches. Well, my bright mind decided to go run down through the creek. So, Casey was like okay, lets go. So when we went to the pasture that the creek is in, we zoomed through the creek and through two more pastures. Then, we thought we heard a sound. I mean I dont ususally think of stuff like that but we were in a pasture way back in my land and no one would really know who is there. So we raced back to the house and we had to go through this pasture were these "curious" cows were. THEY STARTED TO CHASE US!!! and we had to go through them to get home..so we did and I almost hit one. Goodness Grasses, I was so scared. You probably think this was crazy or just plain stuiped...well I think it was to when we got home. Well thats my day. OH, When we were at the clemson game i got really sunburned and now there is this outline of a tiger paw on my face, and not to mention, I go to get my permit monday and its gonna be in my picture!!!

High School && Being the Church!

Everyone says that high school is the time of your life and the memories you will never forget, well will someone please tell me when this kicks in??? High school is just like middle school to me. You do the samethings and no "new" freedoms. People say that its just because your a freshman and all!! If that is the case, can we please hurry the 9th grade up to the 10th???

The past couple of months, my christian walk has been amazing. God is placing stuff right in front of my eyes and I have really enjoyed that. I know that this isnt always gonna be the case, I'm gonna have to search for what God wants me to do. My former youth minster, Curt Hanna, who I really look up to once said "Stop doing church, and, Start being the Church." To tell you the truth this little quote has really got me through the past couple of months. In order to be the church you have to step out of your comfort zone, and, don't let silly things/comments bring you down. A good exmple of this is when I went on the Kentucky mission trip with First Mt. Moriah. While I was there, I meet alot of wonderful and amazing people. The most important part is, that I saw how God works through people to show others about him. There was this little boy there who I will never for until the day I die, named Dalton. Katie, Leahanne, and I were all in crafts one day and the 4th, 5th, and 6th graders came in. In the middle of class, Katie started asking all the boys(becasue we only had boys in that class) what they wanted to be one day. All of them said the typical answers such as football players and wrestlers. Well, Dalton said I wanna be a christian. Katie followed that with "you can do that know, you dont have to wait"...somewhere in between that he said he also wanted to be a preacher. Well, the following day, which was that last night, Dalton accepted Christ!!! It brings tears to my eyes everytime I talk to it. God is just amazing and wonderful! So in Kentucky, every single one of us were being the church, and because of that we led a person to completee happiness with the Lord!!! I'm so excited that I got to share this with you!!!
