Irvine's Landing

As, most of ya'll know that Janie Pearl Wheless was my grandmother. She was a wonderful and bright lady and had an amazing realtionship with the Lord that most people would envy to have. She inherted Irvines Landing after her father died in 1999, and ran it 'til the days she died in 2008. Nana loved that place more than anyone in EVER could, and I do mean more thatn ANYONE. Nana basically dedicated her life to that store and her family most of her lifetime.This past fall, Irvine's Landing closed its doors. That was one of the hardest things I have every went through. Most people think it's crazy to have an emotional attachment a little ole raggady store, but I did. I have had so many memories there from the time I was born up until last year. It's where we went most everyday of the summer to swim and spend time with the family. Irvines is where I spent most of my time.In the years before, I would of never imagined the future without it. I planned for my children to have the memories I had as I grew up down there. I planned for Mama to yell at them like Nana did to stop flipping on the rails(you would know what I'm talking about if you were a "regular"). Where they would swing in the swings and have a wonderful converstation with the whole family.Now, It hurts to go down there to a place where I onced spent most of my life. Sitting on the front porch having a converstation with Papa, then looking up tares me apart cause I can't see the Irvines no more. Where did it go, Why did it have to go? have all been questions I have had and It makes me mad to think that I will never have any memories at Irvines no more, but life will go on and that just happens.

Mother's Day

Today is mother's day. The one day out of the year that is desinated just for mothers, but one day is just too litttle to show how much appreciation for your mothers.

Things I Love About My Mama.

1. She has a passionate love for Jesus.

2. She is smart lady and loves her job.

3. She loves her Children more than anyone else.

4. She takes care of us when we are sick.

5. Her hugs.

6. Her outgoing personallity( i really didn't get that for her.)

7. Her smile.

These are just little things ii love about my mama and there is so much more that i love about her.
